KHAN MIR OSMAN ALI: (1886-1967) Last Nizam of Hyderabad 1911-48. Signed bold black ink 4 x 3 card `Nizam VII of Hyderabad´, also dated 1929 in his hand. Accompanied by the original envelope postmarked and stamped. VG Mir Osman Ali Khan, also known as Nizam VII, ruled the Princely State of Hyderabad until it was annexed by India. He was considered in 1937 the richest person at the time and one of the wealthiest people of all time. Reputedly a benevolent ruler, he was known as the ''Architect of Modern Hyderabad'', introducing electricity, railways and roads in the State.
