KAMMHUBER JOSEF: (1896-1986) German General of World War II, Knight's Cross winner. Kammhuber was the first general of night fighters in the Luftwaffe. War date D.S., Kammhuber, one page, 4to, Korpsgefechtsstand, 29th June 1943, in German. The typed document is Kammhuber's statement of testimony in regards to Staff Sergeant Vogler, whom he states has performed excellently in the most varied theatres of war and 'In his position as chief foreman, through high skill and restless zeal, he has shared in the good state of the readiness of the aviation squadron', therefore approving of the proposal.
