ROLLAND ROMAIN: (1866-1944) French Dramatist & Novelist, Nobel Prize winner for Literature, 1915. A fine A.L.S., Romain Rolland, two pages, Villeneuve, Villa Olga, 23rd May 1930, in French. Rolland request urgent information from his correspondent, stating `Pardonnez-moi de revenir a la charge! Mais le temps presse. Madame Kondacheva attend, pour savoir a quel consulat Suisse elle doit envoyer sa demande, formulaire de venire n Suisse, et si elle peut, comme je vous l´ai demandé, l´adresser directement au consulat Suisse de Berlin… je m´inquiete de n´avoir pu encore lui fournir les renseignements nécessaires. Vous serez tres aimable de me les donner…´ ("Forgive me for coming back pushing you! But time is running out.
