HAMMERSTEIN II OSCAR: (1895-1960) American lyricist and librettist of Broadway Musicals, famous for his collaborations with composer Richard Rodgers. A brief T.L.S., Oscar, one page, 4to, St, George Street, London, 8th June 1950, to W. J. MacQueen-Pope (´Dear Macqueen´), on the printed stationery of Williamson Music Limited.
