BRENNAN WALTER: (1894-1974) American actor, the first Academy Award winner for Best Supporting Actor in 1936 for his role as Swan Bostrom in Come and Get It, winning the award on a further two occasions, in 1938 for his role as Peter Goodwin in Kentucky and again in 1940 for his role as Judge Roy Bean in The Westerner. A good vintage signed and inscribed sepia 8 x 10 photograph of Brennan seated in a three-quarter length pose.
