Signed colour 5 x 7 photograph of Birtwistle standing in a half-length pose clapping his hands as he applauds an orchestra at the conclusion of a musical performance. Signed in blue fountain pen ink to the lower white border and dated August 1985 in his hand. The composer has also added a small musical notation alongside his signature. VG
