MAROCHETTI CARLO: (1805-1867) - MAROCHETTI CARLO: (1805-1867) Italian-born French sculptor who worked in France, Italy and Great Britain, receiving commissions from Queen Victoria whilst in the latter country. A fine vintage signed carte-de-visite photograph, the sepia albumen print by John and Charles Watkins of London depicting Marochetti in a head and shoulders pose. Signed ( ´Marochetti´ ) in ink to a light area at the base of the image and further signed and inscribed in the third person to the verso, ´To Dr. Muspratt with Mr. Marochetti´s best regards ´, also adding the date 2nd May 1867 in his hand.
