WARNER H. B.: (1876-1958) - WARNER H. B.: (1876-1958) English actor, an Academy Award nominee for Best Supporting Actor in 1937 for his role as Chang in Lost Horizon . A good vintage signed sepia 10 x 8 photograph of the actor seated in a half-length pose in costume from his Oscar nominated performance as Chang from the American adventure drama fantasy film Lost Horizon , directed by Frank Capra. Signed by Warner in dark fountain pen ink to the image, ´Wishing you lots of good luck, H. B. Warner´ . The signature runs across a darker area although is reasonably legible. Scarce in this form. A few pinholes to each of the corners (one with slight loss) of the borders and some traces of formefr mounting to the verso. G
