The partially printed form letter, completed in typescript, confirms that Albert I, King of the Belgians, ´a bien voulu vous conferer.....la décoration de Commandeur de l´ordre de Léopold II´ (Translation: ´ has been kind enough to confer on you......the decoration of Commander of the Order of Leopold II´ ) and continues to state ´J´ai l´honneur de vous faire parvenir..... les insignes de l´Ordre, une copie authentique de l´arreté en date du 6 mai 1932, qui vous accorde cette distinction, ainsi qu´un récépissé que je vous prie de vouloir bien me restituter, complété et signé´ (Translation: ´I have the honour of sending you... the insignia of the Order, an authentic copy of the decree dated 6 May 1932, which grants you this distinction, as well as a receipt which I kindly ask you to return to me, completed and signed´ ).
