A good signed 8 x 10 photograph of the elderly Cagney in a head and shoulders pose with a typically determined expression on his face. A lengthy printed caption to the verso states, in part, that ´James Cagney is the first actor to receive the American Film Institute´s Life Achievement Award....´ and that the ceremony will take place at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles on 13th March (1974). Signed by Cagney in blue fountain pen ink with his name alone to a lighter area of the image. VG
