OLIVIER LAURENCE: (1907-1989) - OLIVIER LAURENCE: (1907-1989) English actor, Academy Award winner for Best Actor in 1948 for his role as Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, in Hamlet. Signed 8 x 10 photograph of Olivier reclining in a half-length pose, in costume as Heathcliff, accompanied by his faithful dog, who sympathetically rests their head on Heathcliff´s shoulder, from the American romantic period drama film Wuthering Heights (1939). Signed by Olivier in white fountain pen ink with his name alone to the image. It was for his performance in this role that Olivier was nominated for a Best Actor Oscar. VG
