HOFFMAN DUSTIN: (1937- ) - HOFFMAN DUSTIN: (1937- ) American actor, Academy Award winner for Best Actor in 1979 for his role as Ted Kramer in Kramer vs. Kramer, and again in 1988 for his role as Raymond Babbitt in Rain Man . Signed colour 8 x 10 photograph of Hoffman standing outdoors in a three-quarter length pose in costume as Benjamin Braddock from the classic American romantic comedy-drama film The Graduate (1967). Signed by Hoffman in blue ink with his name alone to the base of the image. An ink annotation in the hand of a collector to the verso indicates that the signature was obtained in person during the Cannes Film Festival in May 2008. It was for his performance in this role that Hoffman received a Best Actor Oscar nomination. EX
