O´ ´TOOLE PETER: (1932-2013) - O´TOOLE PETER: (1932-2013) British actor, an Academy Award nominee for Best Actor on eight occasions, the first being in 1962 for his performance as T. E. Lawrence in Lawrence of Arabia. O´Toole was the recipient of an Academy Honorary Award in 2003. An excellent signed and inscribed 7.5 x 8.5 photograph of the actor seated in a full-length pose in the desert, in costume as the British Army officer T. E. Lawrence from the epic biographical adventure drama film Lawrence of Arabia , directed by David Lean. Signed by O´Toole with a fine example of his signature in bold blue fountain pen ink across a light area at the base of the image. VG
