A printed 4to Royal Box official souvenir programme for the Final of the Gentlemen's Singles of the Lawn Tennis Championships at the All England Club Wimbledon, 4th July 1981, signed by both Borg and McEnroe in black inks with their names alone to the front cover. Some light age wear, otherwise VG At the 1981 Wimbledon Championships McEnroe defeated five-time defending champion Borg to win the gentlemen's singles tennis title in what was a rematch of the previous year´s final. It was McEnroe´s first Wimbledon singles title, and also represented Borg´s last Wimbledon appearance. The 1981 tournament is also remembered for McEnroe´s famous disagreement with an umpire when the player, during his first round match, shouted ´You cannot be serious!´ to the chair umpire in response to a serve being called ´out´. Autographs of Borg and McEnroe, the two great tennis court rivals, together on the same item are rare and desirable.
