TARUFFI PIERO: (1906-1988) - TARUFFI PIERO: (1906-1988) Italian motor racing driver and engineer who competed in Formula One from 1950-56. Vintage signed postcard photograph of Taruffi seated in the cockpit of a somewhat futuristic looking racing car, constructed of two ttorpedo-shaped parallel bodies joined together, on an empty road with two onlookers standing at the side. Signed by the driver in ink with his name alone to a light area at the base of the image. Some very light, minor traces of former mounting to the verso, VG
