RAVEL MAURICE: (1875-1937) - RAVEL MAURICE: (1875-1937) French Composer. An excellent A.M.Q.S., ` Maurice Ravel´, one page, 4to, Brussels, 27 th April 1923. Ravel has cleanly penned a large 6 bars of music on two staves, which he identifies beneath as being from his composition ` Sonate pour Violon et Violoncelle ´, also annotating the tempo ` expressif´. Very small minor age wear to the edges, otherwise VG Ravel composed his Sonata for Violin and Cello in 1920-22. He dedicated it to Claude Debussy who had died two years earlier in 1918.
