Alma Mahler with her usual large writing, and in purple fountain pen ink states in part ` Hochgeehrter Herr Director, Ich bitte Sie dringend heute Abends um 8 Uhr mit Ihrer lieben Frau zu mir zu kommen. Prof. Hollnsteiner und... Neumayer werden beide sein und ich weiß, dass [Gert]lerer sehr den Wunsch hat, mit Ihnen zu sprechen. Ich bitte Sie also noch einmal herzlichst Zu kommen .´ (Translation: ” Dear Mr. Director, I urgently ask you to come to see me this evening at 8 o'clock with your dear wife. Prof. Hollnsteiner and... Neumayer will both be here and I know that [Gert]lerer very much wishes to speak to you.
