JENNER WILLIAM: (1815-1898) - JENNER WILLIAM: (1815-1898) English physician who discovered the distinction between typhus and typhoid and who served as Physician in Ordinary to Queen Victoria 1862-98. Jenner writes, in full, ´I shall be happy to aid the council of the Society of Arts by forming one of the committee on the subject of mechanical contrivances applied to general medicine´ . With the circular ink date stamp of the Society of Arts and one small file hole to the upper left corner. About VG Peter Le Neve Foster (1809-1879) English barrister and mathematician who served as secretary of the Royal Society of Arts and was a pioneer photographer with the Calotype Club.
