Ici la chaleur a été asez forte, ce qui n´est pas favorable pour le travail, mais cependant je n´ai pas trop perdu mon temps... ´ (Translation: ” Many thanks, dear friend, for your note, happy to know that Madame Debussy is in full convalescence. How did you spend the summer? Here the heat was quite strong, which is not favorable for work, but nevertheless I did not waste too much time...”) The folded 12mo letter is addressed in Falla´s name and stamped and postmarked to the front.
