HEPBURN KATHARINE: (1907-2003) - HEPBURN KATHARINE: (1907-2003) American actress, Academy Award winner for Best Actress in 1932/33 for her role as Eva Lovelace in Morning Glory, in 1967 for her role as Christina Drayton in Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, in 1968 for her role as Eleanor of Aquitaine in The Lion in Winter and again in 1981 for her role as Ethel Thayer in On Golden Pond. A good vintage signed and inscribed 8 x 10 photograph of Hepburn seated in a three-quarter length pose wearing an elegant drewss and black evening gloves. Photograph by Angus McBean and bearing his credit stamp from Endell Street, London, to the verso. Signed by Hepburn in blue fountain pen ink to a light area at the base of the image. A few very minor, light smudges and with an extremely light horizontal surface crease to the centre of the image, about VG Angus McBean (1904-1990) Welsh photographer, set designer and cult figure associated with surrealism.
