A.L.S., Maurice Chevalier , two pages, oblong 8vo, La Louque, Parce de Marnes-la-Coquette, 12th October 1954, to Madame Rittche, in French. Chevalier states that he couldn´t read Rittche´s address very well, but hopes that the Belgian postal service will be able to read it more easily, and continues to refer to a mutual friend, ´Pauvre Géno - si courageuse - si bellement humaine - Embrassez-la pour moi et dites lui toute ma tendresse´ (Translate: ´Poor Géno – so brave, so beautifully human.
