ATWILL LIONEL: (1885-1946) - ATWILL LIONEL: (1885-1946) English actor, remembered for his portrayal of Professor Moriarty in Sherlock Holmes and the Secret Weapon (1943) as well as his appearances in various horror films of the 1930s. A rare vintage signed sepia postcard photograph of Atwill in a head and shoulders pose wearing a uniform and pith helmet in costume from one of his films. Signed in dark fountain pen ink with his name alone to a light area at the base of the image. VG
