KRUPP ALFRED: (1812-1887) - KRUPP ALFRED: (1812-1887) German industrialist, noted for his development and worldwide sale of cast-steel cannon and other armaments. Vintage signed sepia 4 x 5.75 photograph of Krupp standing in a full-length pose and resting one hand on an ornately carved wooden bureau at his side. Signed ( ´Alfred Krupp´ ) in ink to the lower border and dated 1884 in his hand. A light blue ink stamp appears in the lower right border and there is an area of loss and creasing to the upper left corner.
