BIGGS & SLIPPER - BIGGS RONNIE: (1929-2013) English criminal who helped plan and carry out the Great Train Robbery of 1963. Signed colour 8 x 10 photograph of Biggs standing outdoors in a half-length pose. Signed ( ‘Cheers! Ronnie Biggs’ ) in bold blue ink to a clear area of the image. Together with Jack Slipper (1924-2005) British Detective Chief Superintendent with the Metropolitan Police in London. Known as Slipper of the Yard , he was mainly known for investigating the Great Train Robbery of 1963 and for tracking down Biggs in Brazil after he escaped from prison in 1965.
