A fine, dark ink signature ( ´R- Leoncavallo´ ) and place and date, Berlin, 14th January 1894, in his hand to the verso of the personal printed oblong 12mo Visiting Card of Guido Mondolfo, ´Correspondente del giornale ”La Riforma” di Roma´ (Translation: ´Correspondent for the newspaper ‘La Riforma’ in Rome´ ), based in Berlin. Together with Jules Massenet (1842-1912) French composer of the Romantic era. The personal printed oblong 12mo Visiting Card of Massenet, unsigned, featuring his printed name (´J. Massenet´ ) to the centre, and address at Rue Malesherbes (Paris) to the lower right corner, with four lines of pencil text in his hand, in French, ´Toutes mes felicitations. Je vous ai applaudi dans cinq mars - quelle remarquable andante à chanter au 1er acte - et 5eme!´ (Translation: ´Congratulations.
