The personal printed oblong 12mo Visiting Card of Zola, unsigned, featuring his printed name to the centre and address at Rue de Bruxelles (Paris; his residence from 1889 until his death) at the base, with two lines of text in his hand, in French, ´Merci et cordiale poignée de main´ (Translation: ´Thank you and a warm handshake´ ). Accompanied by the original envelope hand addressed by Zola to Monsieur St . Georges de Bouhélier in Paris and postmarked 25th May 1898.
