A.L.S., Maeterlinck , to the recto and verso of his personal printed oblong 12mo Visiting Card, featuring his printed name ( ´Maeterlinck´ ) to the centre, n.p., n.d., to a friend, in French. Maeterlinck states that he was delighted to hear of his friend´s appointment, continuing ´Mais quel regret de ne par vous avoir à Nice (?) où nous vous esperions avec tous ceux que vous y aviez conquis! Nous espérons que vous ne nous abandonnez pas!´ (Translation: ´But what a pity that you will not be in Nice (?), where we were looking forward to seeing you with all those whom you had won over there! We hope you will not abandon us!´ ) VG
