A.L.S., Chaim , in Cyrillic, to the verso of his personal printed small oblong 12mo Visiting Card, featuring his printed name ( ´Dr. Ch. Weizmann´ ) to the centre, and address at 67 Addison Road, Kensington, to the lower left corner, n.p. (London), n.d. (c.1914-18), to I.A. , in Cyrillic. Weizmann writes, in full, ´Please be so kind as to collect from Dizengoff the old Proposals which I gave to Money, as well as the documents belonging to them´ . Rare in this form. Some very light, extremely minor age wear, about VG Meir Dizengoff (1861-1936) Zionist leader and politician and the founder and first Mayor of Tel Aviv (1911–22 as head of town planning, 1922–36 as Mayor). Sir Arthur Wigram Money (1866-1951) British Major-General who served as Chief Administrator of Palestine between June 1918 and June 1919, but was removed by London for not favoring the Zionists over the Arabs (just as his successor was six months later).
