VISITING CARDS: (x15) - VISITING CARDS: An interesting selection of personal printed oblong 12mo Visiting Cards belonging to a variety of famous men and women, all unsigned although each with autograph notes (ranging from a few words to multiple lines of text), including Paul Deschanel (President of France, 1920), Maurice Couve de Murville (Prime Minister of France 1968-69), Paolo Thaon di Revel (Italian Admiral of World War I), Mrs. Ernst Brenner-Sturzenegger, Louis Dorbon (French bookseller & publisher), Heinrich Hofmann (German painter), Richard Graves (senior British official in Jerusalem during the troubled last months of mandatory rule), Frieda Hempel, Ignaz Moscheles (Bohemian piano virtuoso and composer, a friend of Felix Mendelssohn), Louis de Broglie etc. Some light age wear, generally G to VG, 15
