A rare and good A.L.S., `Mahler´ , two pages, on a 5 x 4 card, n.p. [Vienna], n.d., on his embossed stationery as Director of the Imperial and Royal Court Opera Theatre in Vienna, to Herr Doktor, in German. Ihr Mahler´ (Translation: ” Dear Doctor, I have just learned that neither tomorrow nor the day after it will possible to rehearse. (In fact, the set has already been thoroughly rehearsed, and the final touches will be made with painters over these two days.) It is therefore quite unnecessary for you to bother. You will see everything at the dress rehearsal, which takes place on Saturday at 10:30, and there will still be plenty of time left before the performance (Tuesday, October 4th). With warmest regards, Mahler ”) Few small stains to the upper right corner, otherwise G
