TOSCANINI ARTURO: (1867-1957) - TOSCANINI ARTURO: (1867-1957) Italian Conductor. An very attractive signed and inscribed 8 x 11.5 photograph, the Mario Castagneri image from Milan depicting Toscanini in a head and shoulders profile pose. Signed and inscribed in Italian, in bold black fountain pen ink (` All´amico Bernardino Molinari, affetuosamente - Arturo Toscanini ´) to the lower white border of the image and dated 14th October 1930 in his hand. The very attractive image is carefully affixed to a slightly large brown car, to an overall of 9.5 x 13 (24cm x 32.5cm). Bearing to the lower left corner the photographer´s blind seal. VG Bernardino Molinari (1880-1952) Italian conductor. Former director of the Orchestra dell´Accademis Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, a position he held until the end of the Second World War. A close friend of Toscanini.
