PICASSO PABLO: (1881-1973) & ROQUE JACQUELINE: (1926-1986) - PICASSO PABLO: (1881-1973) Spanish painter, a co-founder of the Cubist movement & ROQUE JACQUELINE: (1926-1986) French model, muse and the second wife of Pablo Picasso from 1961. A large vintage signed and inscribed 9.5 x 12 photograph by both Picasso and Roque individually, the image depicting them together in full-length poses as they walk outdoors, the painter wearing a sheepskin-lined suede coat and plaid trousers and holding a knitwear hat in one hand as he waves with his other raised hand, and his muse wearing a patterned heavy wool poncho and plain white trousers and carrying a pair of sunglasses in her hands. Photograph by France Soir of Paris and bearing their credit stamp to the verso. Signed ( ´Picasso´ ) by Picasso to a lighter area of the image, adding an inscription in his hand, as well as the date, 9th July 1967, beneath his signature, and signed ( ´Jacqueline´ ) by Roque with her forename only to the base of the image. Both signatures are a little faded, although remain legible. VG
