Guide to a Notable Collection of Portuguese Coins Palácio da Foz, Lisbon 1948 This book contains 17 pages of text and approximately 14 illustrated pages. It served as a guide for an exhibition of a remarkable collection of Portuguese coins, organized by the Numismatic Section of the Almeida Basto Banking House, in collaboration with the SNI (National Information/Numismatics Service). It was written by one of the most respected Portuguese numismatists of his time, lending authority to the technical and historical commentary on each piece. Although brief, it provides an organized and illustrated view of Portuguese pieces of high cultural and monarchical value, selected as representative or exceptional.
