In this auction, two lots deserve mention, as they are unprecedented cases of survival. The first refers to two identical coins of King D. Dinis. For the first time, two denari are recorded struck with the same pair of dies. The second case is the appearance of a 50 rupee note from the State of Portuguese India, dated November 4, 1882.
