Hungarian Parochet - 1870 Hungarian Parochet (Torah Ark curtain). Velvet cloth hand-embroidered with gilt silver thread. Decorated with a symmetric foliate pattern and garlands of leaves and flowers bound with ribbons along with Stars of David. Topped with a Torah Crown. Bears a centered embroidered dedication dated 1870. Dimensions: 194X158 cm. Fair condition. Tears and mending, mostly to the bottom half.
