Bezalel Silver and Carving Box - Extremely rare Bezalel silver box, circa 1910. Decorated with filigree work of palm trees, sides of box set with carved medallions with the scenes: plowing, sowing, harvesting, threshing, grinding and baking. Set with gemstones and carved plaques with a Hebrew inscription: ”Those who sow in tears will reap in joy”. Top of the lid set with a carved plaque depicting oats, flower patterns and a caption in Hebrew: ”Bezalel”. Stands on 4 legs. Dimensions: 7X8X11.5 cm. Marked.
