Bezalel Carved Wooden Box - Bezalel wooden box, Palestine, c. 1910-1920. The front is carved with the image of a Jewish figure holding a cup (after Boris Schatz), engraved with the inscription in Hebrew: ”Elijah the Prophet's Cup”. The sides are decorated with Menorahs, Lions of Judah holding the Tablets of the Law and a Torah scroll. Velvet interior. Dimensions: 13.5X3.5X10.5 cm. Signed: ”Bezalel Yerushalem” (Hebrew). Slight wear.
