Shulamit Yashar, charcoal on paper, 41 by 29 cm, unframed - Shulamit Yashar began her artistic journey in the Plastic Arts program at the 'Avni Institute, ' where she received guidance from the esteemed painters Yair Garbuz and Yossi Mark. Yashar continued her studies in Architecture at Pratt Institute, N.Y., graduating with honors. In 2018, Yashar returned to art studies at David Nipo's studio at 'The Station' in Tel Aviv, where she deepened her knowledge and painting skills in the realistic style. According to her, the beauty of realistic painting lies in the fact that its success demands an abstract view of what is perceived. After all, the real world is not confined and defined by contour lines. ”The silence and balance in the connection between the eye and the hand, the hand, sometimes precise, sometimes erratic, the personal translation of the local landscape, using the external world to express the internal world, which seemingly diminishes the importance of the subject, creates the grace and freedom I find in art.” Shulamit Yashar Exhibitions January 2022: ”The Place” Group exhibition, sale exhibition, curated by Roni Oz, at the Lake Gallery, Ra'anana.
