Revital Shoshany, acrylic on canvas, 70 by 100 cm, signed and framed - Revital is a Landscape Architect since 1982. In 2003 she started to be involved with south-eastern cultures, and obtained in 2008 her Masters degree in this field from Tel-Aviv University. One year of stay in India during 2008/ 2009 was accompanied by deepening her exposure to Budhism and YOGA. Visiting the landscapes of the Ganga and the Himalaya stimulated her attraction to painting and drawing. However, only during the last 6 years she is devoting much of her attention and time to drawing in general and of ‘Indian human-nature’ scenes in particular. Biography: 1956 born in Haifa, married 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren.  1982 - Graduate of Landscape Architecture in Technion, Haifa 2008 - Master in East Asian Studies, University of Tel Aviv 2005 - 2 month visit to South India 2008 - 1 year stay in North and South India 2010 - 2024 Guiding tours of mainly Israeli women to India & Srilanka. 2019, 2026 - a month stay in the Indian Himalayas 2020 - 2026 – painting in few centers of art with professional teachers: Heleni Shamay - Shazar Givataim; Ilya Gefter – Center of Arts – Yafo; Alina Spashilov- Hertzelia museum; Gustavo Bar Valenzuela - Teo Hertzelia & Katedra Ramat Hasharon. Solo Exhibitions Two ”India & Srilanka impressions” exhibitions. India & Srilanka cultures are a source of inspiration for me as well as a mentors for my life. Group exhibition Three group exhibitions with landscape architects 2026, 2024, 2023 in CinemaTeck Tel-Aviv and Galeria ZOA in Beit Zionei America, Tel Aviv. These three exhibitions deal with Israeli landscapes, their light, space and people in the landscapes.
