His son Solomon completed the work and built the Temple on the Temple Mount. Many peoples ruled Jerusalem, but more than conquering it - they were conquered by it. Even today, Jerusalem ignites the imagination of millions of people in the world, and everyone has a part in it. Jerusalem's thousands of years have solidified and placed layer upon layer, but neither have they overshadowed the initial essence that was forged in the City of David - the Eternal City.
