Aharon Aharonson Weeding House, an Essay by Prof. H. Oppenheimer – Dedication handwritten by Rivka Aharonson – Rare - The booklet contains a handwritten dedication by Rivka Aharonson, Aharon Aharonson's sister: ”To Rabbi M. Yechezkel Guttman, in memory of his visit to the Aharon Aharonson Weeding House, with respect and honor, Rivka Aharonson”. The dedication is from 19/7/1959. Rivka Aharonson was the youngest daughter of Efrayim and Malka Aharonson, among the founders of Zichron Ya'akov. Her brother was Aharon Aharonson, the famous agronomist who stood at the head of NILI, the underground organization, and her sister, Sara, the NILI heroine. Rivka was engaged to Avshalom Feinberg, also a member of NILI. She founded, together with her brother Alexander, the museum of 'Beit Aharonson' in memory of the NILI underground organization and managed it until her death. Rabbi Matityahu Yechezkel Guttman was rabbinical judge of several towns in Romania. He wrote many books about Hassidic Rebbes includeing the famous series ”The Greatest Hassidim”. In the essay, Prof. Oppenheimer reviews the uniqueness of the Aharon Aharonson Weeding House. The booklet includes pictures of the work at the Weeding House, of several dried plants and a portrait of Aharonson. Condition: Very Good.
