At the head of the first page, it was written: ”Personal and confidential”. Jerusalem, 1935. In the letter, Shragai surveys the precise Jewish situation of the Old City and suggests solutions. Most likely that the letter had not been sent, its writing stopped in the middle. 4 leaves written on one of their sides. 27 cm. Condition: Good. Tears with slight damage to text. Added is a typewritten document (draft?) from 1937 regarding ”the general situation of the Old City” and ”Choosing a council” for the residents of the Jewish Quarter.
