Chaim Arlosoroff - A Very Early Letter, 1924 - Hand-Signed by him as Secretary of the Histadrut - Extremely Rare! - A reply letter, hand-signed by Chaim Arlosoroff, addressed to all the institutions of the Histadrut and its branches. In the letter, Arlosoroff announces that ”Sela Ha'Yishuv” of the National Council should be distributed in order to assist the fundraising for the Council and its activities. The letter is signed with the stamp of ”Ha'Va'ad ha'Poel” of the Histadrut in addition to Arlosoroff's handwritten signature. The tax of ”Sela Ha'Yishuv” was a voluntary tax that was collected by the members of the National Council. The tax was of five Grush per month for six month for every adult and was meant to help pay for the activities of the Council. Letters by Arlosoroff are extremely rare! This might be the earliest letter by him that survived. 21x23 cm. Condition: Good-Very Good. Filing holes and a small tear.
