Ma'asei Rikma - Leipzig, 1865 - Ma'aseh Rikma/Siftei Yesheinim – a commentary on the book of Proverbs, with a translation of Proverbs to German, by Rabbi Yehoshua Heschel Kuttner, Magid of Lisa. Leipzig, 1865. The German is in Gothic script. This is the second edition of the book which was published in the same year. It was originally published with a translation into German in regular script, and in the second time, in Gothic letters, as in the copy before us. Approbation of Rabbi Shmuel Beck of Lisa. Additional approbations from other great Rabbis of Lisa. The original text and the translation were printed on facing pages, with the commentaries in the page margins. Two title pages. At the beginning of the book is ”The Pedigree Crown of my Fathers' House”. Handwritten signature on the title page. 23, 90 leaves. 20 cm. Condition: Excellent.
