Rabbi Chaim Sofer (1822-1886), Av Beit Din of Munkatch and Beduapest, author of ”Machane Chaim”, disciple of the ”Chatam Sofer” and on eof the leaders of the Hungarian Jewry. A genius and tsaddik, fighter of the Enlightenment Movement. Was born in Pressburg and was circumcised on Yom Kippur by his rabbi, the Chatam Sofer. 43, (1) leaves. 21 cm. Condition: Good.
