Rabbi Sonnefeld, the son of Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld, was one of the most prominent religious authors of Jerusalem. He was destined for greatness; yet died young. With the signature of Rabbi Hillel Witkind, the son-in-law of Rabbi Yosef Horowitz, the ”alter” of Navaredok, the founder of the Navaredok Yeshiva in the Land of Israel and one of the most prominent heads of Yeshiva.
