Sefer ”sha'arei tzedek”, which is the book ”Zar'o shel Avraham” Section B – commentary and novellae on concepts of the Talmud alphabetically ordered, with halachic responsa, by Rabbi Avraham Chajaj, with the book ”Yashiv Moshe” – novellae on the Shulchan Aruch Even Ha'ezer Siman 128, by Rabbi Moshe Shetrog. With the book ”Yitzchak Yeranen” – interesting rulings by Rabbi Yitzchak Ha'Cohen. Tunis, 1928. First edition. Each book has a separate title page. Among the leaves of the book ”Zar'o shel Avraham” more than 10 long handwritten glosses by Rabbi Eliyahu Taieb. Condition: Good. Detached binding and leaves. B. Zera Avraham – Novellae on the tractates of the Talmud, Rambam and Shulchan Aruch with Kuntras ”Sinai Ba'Kodesh” on all the Halachot that had been told to Moses on Mount Sinai. By Rabbi Avraham Katorsa. Livorno, 1921. First edition. Among the leaves of the book, three long handwritten glosses by Rabbi Eliyahu Taieb. On leaf 126, a grammatical gloss with the signature ”Ne'eman S.T.” – Rabbi Meir Mazuz, head of ”Kiseh Rachamim” Yeshiva in Bnei Berak. An early gloss from the Tunis period. Condition: Fair. Moth damage. Missing title page. C. Chidushei Ha'Rashba on the Ketubot tractate which were found, handwritten, in the yard of the house of Rabbi Ya'akov Reischer, author of ”shvut Ya'akov” and at the end of the book glosses on Tur Even Ha'Ezer by Rabbi Yom Tov Lipmann Heller, author of ”Tosfot Yom Tov”. Metz, 1765. (The author is actually the Ramban but the novellae was attributed by mistake to the Rashba). On the Forsazt page at the beginning of the book, handwritten novellae by Rabbi Eliyahu Taieb. A handwritten gloss by him of leaf 49. Condition: Fair-Bad. No title page. Rabbi Eliyahu ben Rabbi David Taieb lived during the 1840's. He was part of the privileged dynasty of the Taieb geniuses. Was one of the most prominent rabbis of Tunis. Was a member of Va'ad Ha'Rabanim of Tunis. The year of his death is unknown (in 1935 he was not among the living). His doctrine was gathered in the ”Zecher Eliyahu” Responsa. Before us is novellae by him that has never been published!
