Vilnius, 1891. First edition. With an approbation by Rabbi Chaim Berlin. 100 leaves. Purple cover title page (not listed by the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book). On the reverse side of this title page, a nice dedication in square (Ashuri) script by the author to Rabbi Chaim berlin, the rabbi of Moscow and in his old age, the rabbi of Jerusalem (with Rabbi Shmuel Salant). At the end of the book, calculations in the handwriting of Rabbi Chaim Berlin. Condition: Good. Damaged title page. B. Eretz Kdumim – including Glilot Eretz Yisrael and the geographic names of the places which appear in the bible, explained by Ba'alei Asufot, old and new. Vilnius, 1839. The book is the second edition of the book ”Mechkarei Eretz” (Wein, 1819) by Rabbi Shlomo Levinson of Prague and the first edition of critique, additions and corrections by Rabbi Ya'akov Ben Shlomo Ha'Cohen Kaplan of Minsk. Section A. Hebrew and foreign language title page. 262 (12) pp. The cover title page is missing as there is no map. The back part of the cover exists and it contains an article from Yalkut Shimoni in a nice frame. Inside the book, ownership stamps of Rabbi Chaim Berlin, with calculations in his handwriting. Königsberg, 1861. On the title page it is written: ”By Rabbi Avraham Ebn Ezra” – maybe in the handwriting of Rabbi Chaim Berlin. Another inscription at the end of the book: ”Ha'Gaon Rabbi Chaim be'Ha'Gaon Admor Rabbi Natziv Berlin”.
