Section A – rulings and responsa on Shulchan Aruch Yoreh Deah, Section B (with a special title page) – novellae. The author (died in 1940), one of the greatest rabbis of Tunis, disciple of Rabbi Shlomo Dana, author of ”shalmei Todah” and rabbi of Rabbi Matzliach Mazuz. Authored many books that remained unpublished. (4), 51, 122, (9), (1), 26, 64, (2) leaves. B. Va'Ya'amod Pinchas, with ”Likutei Perachim” – commentary on Pslams, Nevi'im, Ketuvim and the Zohar, by Rabbi Pinchas Rachamim Chadad (Perach). Tunis, 1917. Single edition. On the reverse side of the title page, a handwritten dedication by the author to Rabbi Eliyahu Taieb. In two places in the book, handwritten glosses signed ”Perach S.T”, most likely glosses by the author. (1) 82 leaves. C. Dagan Bachurim – novellae on the Talmus and Ma'arachot alphabetically ordered. Djerba, 1938. Single edition. By rabbi Chatatu David Chaduk, who died when he was only twenty years old. With glosses by Rabbi Mordechai Amais Ha'Cohen, Rabbi Avraham Ha'Cohen, Rabi Chavita Ha'Cohen, Rabbu Moshe Ha'Cohen, Rabbi Shlomo Magoz. Published by his father. On the Forsazt leaf, a handwritten dedication and signature by the author's father to Rabbi Chaim. D. Chaim Le'Yisrael – novellae on the tractates of the Talmud, by Rabbi Chaim David Guedj. Tunis, 1908. First edition. On the inner side of the binding, a dedication leaf is glued printed in golden ink, hand-filled by the publisher. E. Ohel Yosef, first section – on the Parashot of the Torah. By Rabbi Yosef Ben Haroche. Tunis, 1927. Single edition. (On the title page it is written: ”first section”; however, no others sections have been published). On the reverse side of the title page, a hand-filled dedication. F. Shulchan Aruch Choshen Mishpat. Vilnius, 1875. On the Forsazt leaf signature of Rabbi Chaim Belaish, the Chief Rabbi of Tunis. He founded a Beit Midrash named after him with an impressive library. The book before us has several stamps of that library. Condition: Varying. Very Good-Fair.
