Salonika, 1811. Single edition. Throughout the book, about ten long scholarly glosses and several handwritten corrections by the author. In three places, the author wrote: ”see my book…” Rabbi Yehuda Sid, author of ”Ot Emet”, was born in Dupnitsa (Bulgaria). A disciple of Rabbi Reuben ben Ya'akov Av Beit Din of Sofia. In 1800, he replaced his brother as Av Beit Din of Pleven and in circa 1809 he immigrated to Safed there he died in 1815. His Drashot were printed in the book ”Yesod Ha'Melech” (Izmir, 1866). His book ”Ner Mitzvah” is cited by the most prominent rabbis. Condition: Bad. No binding. Detached leaves. Moth damage. All the glosses are readable.
